| We have been doing extensive research in the educational segment for the past six years. And we have found that, the institutions are undertaking many activities to bring out the best students, who are going to be an asset to our nation in the future.
Our research has also helped us to find that, in India more than 300 Universities and 1,80,000 leading schools and colleges are there. But not even 5 % of these institutions are utilizing a system, which will provide the superlative, and deficit power of students individually, staff or department or whole institutions is concerned and alerts the status to the management. Though our institutions are offering world-class latest technologies to the students, but they have never had a system, which will alert the students of their strengths and weaknessesf. It is not that they are not interested to use some system of that kind; but there is no system currently available, which will give the extensive solution to link among students, staff, management and Parents.
Looking at a student's career, being given quality education, they are supposed to produce the best results. In order for to them to produce the best results, they need the best management to bring out the latest technologies and opportunity for them to learn more and grow.They also need the best tutors who will guide them through their curriculum and they also need to be continuously alerted to parents.
What happens in the current system, one of the activities of the institutions is the sending of reports about student's attendance, marks, fees and conduct by mail. But research has proven that, out of 1000 mailers sent, only 8 to 15 parents respond favorably. Therefore the institutions are concerned as to the widening gap of information not reaching.
So how could one abridge this large communication gap between parents and the institution? Palpap took up this challenge and developed the IVRS (Interactive Voice Response System) after much research and specifications.
It is like this..., when we want to know the ticket status in the Railway reservation system, on dialing the particular telephone number and after entering the PIN; the system automatically tells the user the status of the ticket.
Our product InsPro Plus makes available all information on the telephone. Parents are given unique PIN to utilize the IVRS and get the information about their ward's performance.
For example: after entering the PIN, the system automatically reads the concerned student's profile. It will request the parent to press 1 for Attendance, press 2 for Marks, Press 3 for fees status and press 4 for Conduct.
In addition to that, Parents can leave the messages to the Management or to their wards, which will automatically be delivered to the concerned person.
There are also outbound call feature, where, if a student is absent without a leave letter; the system automatically calls the student's parents immediately and reports the student's absence.
